PUMA Prerequisites

Before installing the Printer Usage Monitoring Application please note the following prerequisites:

Supported operating systems

The PUMA application can monitor print servers running on the following Microsoft Windows operating system versions:

• Windows NT4
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Windows 2003

Database

The PUMA application runs on an SQL Server 2000 database. If you do not have SQL Server 2000 installed on your server you can install MSDE instead.

Disk space

The Printer Usage Monitoring Application Management Console and Database require a minimum of 6Mb of free space to install.
